Since its conception in September 2014, Décor Aid has completed more than 800 projects in New York. Now, the company offers its interior design services in London, San Francisco, Miami, Chicago and Washington D.C. We spoke to Sean Juneja, the CEO at Décor Aid, to learn more about the inspiration behind some of Décor Aids stunning designs.

TriBeCa Loft

New York, New York
“Our client had originally envisioned an all-white furniture scheme, but we advised against this, as an all-white arrangement can look washed out in a light-abundant space,” he says. “Instead, we advocated for a high-contrast, textured neutral palette, to reflect the breadth of materials used in the remodel of this chic, urban loft. When selecting a color scheme, we always look to the existing space for inspiration. And with this TriBeCa loft project, the white-washed brick wall was a huge inspiration.”

Hoboken Home Showing

Hoboken, New Jersey
“The owners of this charming Hoboken townhouse turned to Décor Aid to make their home market ready,” he says. “Our interior designers came in and incorporated brilliant home decorating ideas into the existing space, rearranging each room’s layout for a cleaner, more cohesive look and adding eye-catching accessories to make them pop.”

Hamptons Home Office

East Hampton, New York
“The reclaimed wood walls are a nod to the house’s bucolic setting, but the industrial pendant lights and sleek Marcel Breuer armchairs firmly establish a sleek and professional vibe,” he says.

Greenwich Country Modern

Greenwich, Connecticut
“With this project, we used a stunning light fixture in each room to differentiate each part of the home. Careful juxtaposition is key when sourcing light fixtures,” he says. “Décor Aid also transformed the traditional kitchen by opening up the space and adding a wall of windows.”
