Harlem Condo Sells 90% In Less Than a Year

The Aurum, a brand-new, full-service condominium in the heart of historic Central Harlem is now more than 90 percent sold less than one year after hitting the market. Developed by BRP Companies and located at 2231 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, the project is completed and move-in ready. Jeff Krantz from Halstead Property Development Marketing is handling the sales.
The eight-story building only has eight homes remaining and has immediate occupancy. The two- and three-bedroom homes start at $956,000. The smoke-free building features luxury amenities including a 24-hour attended lobby, roof deck, gym, and bike room. The building also features a 25-year, 421-A tax abatement and is designed to LEED Gold specifications, with its own co-generation power plant to provide clean energy, heating, and cooling.

“The Aurum reflects BRP’s core mission to create and manage high-quality, energy-efficient housing in emerging neighborhoods with access to public transportation, open space and retail,” stated Meredith Marshall, Managing Partner and Co-founder of BRP Companies. “The property will be Harlem’s newest community asset in the midst of a neighborhood already imbued with significant culture and history.”
“The successful sales illustrate the demand for full-service condominiums with luxury amenities in Harlem,” said Krantz. “The Aurum achieves an enviable mix of affordability and luxury. We encourage those interested in Aurum to act fast to secure a place in the heart of vibrant and storied Harlem.”

The Aurum is in close proximity to several prominent neighborhood attractions, including The Apollo Theater, Red Rooster Harlem, Marcus Garvey Park, and the soon-to-be opened Whole Foods. The site is easily accessible via the 2, 3, B and C subway lines at 135th street.
BRP Companies is a New York-based real estate firm that is at the forefront of mixed-use development and acquisition of urban, multi-family properties. The firm offers a full complement of development, acquisition, construction, property, and investment management.

luxeFIT Luxury Fitness Retreats Merge Fitness, Food and Friendship

Two young businesswomen have found a way to combine their passion for travel and healthy lifestyles through a brand-new venture, luxeFIT. The company offers week-long luxury fitness retreats to exotic destinations, arranging workout sessions and activities, nutritious cuisine prepared by a private chef and opportunities for socializing and fun – all in a luxurious private beachfront estate setting.
LuxeFIT blends fitness, adventure and nutrition with the opportunity to explore new and exciting destinations worldwide. The first retreat is slated for April 30 – May 6, in Barbados. Activities will include yoga, paddleboarding, snorkeling, surfing and water-skiing, with numerous social opportunities — as well as free time — throughout. Excursions will be available to explore Harrison’s Caves, tour Mt. Gay Rum Distillery, shop in Holetown and more.

“Our guests will work hard, sweat it out every day, meet like-minded people and have fun in some of the most beautiful places on earth!” said luxeFIT co-founder Loren Mayo. “Our retreats aim to be a place where guests feast on delicious, healthy cuisine, exercise in spirited and challenging sessions with top trainers, experience the sights and sounds of the area and, ultimately, return home looking and feeling better than when they left.”
Just as food typically plays a central role in any travel experience, healthy eating is at the core of a luxeFIT adventure. One of the founding principles of luxeFIT is to provide wholesome, delectable, locally produced meals for guests to enjoy.  The accommodations feature a private chef, who will offer meals that meet guests’ nutritional needs, while taking great care to develop menus reflecting the culture of the destination. Every meal will have vegetarian/vegan, gluten-free and other options.

Business partners Loren Mayo of Sarasota and Holly Morris of New York City at the University of Central Florida. Mayo’s career is rooted in journalism and marketing. Morris worked in hospitality management before making a career change to human resources. Both, however, share a passion for fitness, healthy eating and exotic travel. The two launched luxeFIT in November 2016, engaging Mia Duval, a fitness instructor at OrangeTheory in Sarasota, FL, as head trainer for the venture.
Beyond the Barbados retreat, the duo is exploring additional options in the Caribbean and Mexico.

“From invigorating workouts to gourmet fare, this program is designed to nourish and energize our guests on every level, offering the perfect blend of cardio, rest and relaxation,” said Morris. “It’s paradise with a purpose — a better, more balanced you, in less than a week!”
Retreats are all-inclusive — all but airfare is included. Guests will enjoy six-nights in either a 5-Star villa or luxury condo, freshly prepared meals with an emphasis on local cuisine, fitness and yoga sessions, the ability to work out with a first-rate fitness instructor and round-trip transportation to group activities.

Touring Tommy Hilfiger’s Florida Estate

Celebrityhomes.eu recently toured Tommy Hilfiger’s beachfront estate in Golden Beach, Florida, which was designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard with an art-pop atmosphere of the late 1960s/early 1970s. At 14,079-square-feet, this expansive property is a museum in itself.

The “part art gallery, part beach house” has seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and four half bathrooms. As an homage to Hilfiger’s famous brand, there’s a montage of blue, red and white paneling throughout the home. But that’s not all: Every shade of the rainbow is in this house. And not everything is what you might expect. In fact, there’s fruit wallpaper in several guest bathrooms, which is made out of a scratch-and-sniff material, with one guest bathroom having a wall covered in bananas.

“The Hilfigers had this estate designed to be a glamorous, sexy home where they could showcase their amazing collection of artwork,” said Jill Hertzberg in a press release for The Jills. “This estate is truly a unique, spectacular find in Golden Beach, perfect for the luxury buyer who enjoys upscale, beachfront living.” If Hertzberg’s description strikes your fancy, the home could be all yours for a mere $27.5 million.

New Single-Family Villas At Ritz-Carlton’s West Enclave

Nestled at the base of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains overlooking the Sea of Cortez, the 27 single-family villas at West Enclave, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residence, are being celebrated not only as Mexico’s first Ritz-Carlton Reserve branded residences but as a signal of a new era of architecture in the luxurious Baja California beach town.
Designed by Mexico City’s Fernando de Haro, a young architect that is quickly gaining national acclaim, West Enclave forges a connection with nature while embodying the essence of mid-century modern design with open space, large glass windows and elements that bring the outdoors in. The sleek and modern design of the Reserve Residences arrives in high contrast to the traditional colonial and Moorish-inspired architecture that is prevalent in the region. De Haro’s contemporary approach manages to blend local materials, customs and living style with a unique and modern twist – all inspired by the natural terrain of Los Cabos.

Each single-family, single-level Reserve Residence is focused on flow and a truly open design concept, with a total of 10,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor living space, floor-to-ceiling windows and an expansive living and dining room that opens up entirely to 4,000 square feet of outdoor living space. Inside each Residence, elements of nature and open living continue with four to five bedrooms each featuring en-suite bathrooms complete with outdoor showers and massage gardens.
“The desert landscape of Los Cabos provided both a challenge and opportunity when designing the Residences,” said De Haro, architect for West Enclave, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residence. “When you are here, you instantly feel there is a deep relationship between the desert sand, the sea and the warm ocean breeze. My goal was to create an environment that marries these elements, and allows the air to flow openly through each home while also providing a protective environment.”

Priced from $4.1 million, 12 Reserve Residences remain available within West Enclave, with each featuring a double kitchen finished with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, choice of cream marble and black granite countertops, an entertainment room with en-suite bathroom, service room with 3/4 bathroom, two powder rooms and a quietly efficient background of premium technology. Outdoor amenities include more than 4,000 square feet of outdoor living space complete with a private swimming pool and spa, covered living and dining area with bar, fireplace and BBQ, open-air courtyard with fire feature, fire pit, two golf cart parking spaces and a two-car garage.

Owners will have access to legendary Ritz-Carlton service including a full-time Director of Residences, an owners-only concierge and additional residential staff dedicated to the needs of residence owners and their guests.  Owners will enjoy a private, Owners’ Welcome Center, and experience ambassadors who can arrange special outings. A la carte services from the adjacent Ritz-Carlton Reserve hotel include in-residence dining and catering, butler service, housekeeping and specialized children’s programs.
The Enclaves, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residence, is owned and being developed by Grupo Questro. In addition to the single-family villas within the West Enclave neighborhood, a second phase of Reserve Residences will include 60 condominium homes. The Reserve hotel will feature 120 rooms and is slated to open in late 2017. Delivery of homes will follow the hotel opening.

The Reserve hotel and The Enclaves are a $430 million undertaking led by Grupo Questro, one of Mexico’s most highly respected developers. It is located within Grupo Questro’s multibillion dollar, master-planned resort community of Puerto Los Cabos in San Jose Del Cabo that spans 2,000 oceanfront acres. With three miles of pristine, private beaches, residence owners have exclusive access to a world-class marina accommodating yachts up to 400 feet, private beach clubs, an estuary, rolling hills robed in exotic flora, signature golf courses from both Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman, a private sculpture garden and a 12-acre cactus botanical park.
The sales gallery for The Enclaves is located at Paseo de los Pescadores S/N, Anita, Puerto los Cabos, 23403 in San José del Cabo, B.C.S. It is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. For more information, visit  www.theenclaves.mx or call 011+52 (624)105 6047 (within San Jose Del Cabo), 1-855-375-2266 (from U.S.) or 01 800 322 2675 (from Mexico).
