The Residences at Gurney’s, a collection of oceanfront homes adjacent to Gurney’s Montauk, has added 6 new oceanfront homes this year. This is in addition to the 12 homes that were unveiled last summer.
The Residences offer a dramatic proximity to the ocean that can not be found anywhere else. The Residences offer a scarce commodity as well — homes may never again be built this close to the ocean due to zoning laws.

The Point of View building, a nearly circular building with 360 degree views of the beach, offers both one- and two- bedroom homes starting at $2.2 million. At Point of View, owners have the option of putting their unit into the Gurney’s Montauk resort rentals, meaning hotel guests can book stays in the private residences and owners receive 60 percent of rates charged.

In addition to the new Point of View Residences, less than half of the units that went for sale last summer are still available for sale, including Salt Sea and Hilltop Residences. The Residences were designed by PETERMAX, whose coastal chic interiors have been well-received in both the Gurney’s hotel rooms and Residences.

Owners also have access to the exceptional Gurney’s lifestyle and amenities, which include butler service, dedicated owners’ beach cabanas, home maintenance, watersport equipment storage, multiple restaurants, and a seawater spa and pool.

For the first time in more than a decade, Greenbrier Resort has announced 3 new golf course neighborhoods at The Greenbrier Sporting Club.

The 3 new neighborhoods will allow golf enthusiasts the opportunity to live on the recently restored Meadows and Old White TPC courses. New homeowners may live among golfers Bubba Watson, Nick Faldo and Phil Mickelson, who also call the resort home.
While the three neighborhoods each provide unique features, they all share stunning golf course views.

The Willows

Located along the Nos. 15, 16 and 17 fairways of The Old White TPC Course, this course offers spectacular fairway and mountain vistas. Sixteen total sites — ranging in size from 0.37 acres to 0.66 acres — will make up this neighborhood. The homes are also within close proximity to The Greenbrier Golf Club, the outdoor pool and the tennis and fitness center.

Shawnee Corner

This course will offer 3 new homesites along the third fairway of the Meadows Course, which recently underwent a redesign and restoration process. These new sites offer golf course and mountain views with a central location that provides easy access to The Greenbrier Sporting Club and The Greenbrier.

Ashford

Located within The Greenbrier Sporting Club’s main gated entry, these 7 homesites will be built along a new 9-hole Par-3 Course, which is currently under construction. These sites also offer breathtaking golf and mountain views.

Along with the 3 new neighborhoods, The Greenbrier Sporting Club is also offering 2 new homesites as part of the popular Lodge Cottage neighborhood along Howard’s Creek. A limited number of these new homesites are available in conjunction with an Oakhurst Founding Partnership contribution of $500,000. Founding partners receive a $500,000 credit toward the purchase of a developer-owned homesite or home in The Greenbrier Sporting Club’s existing community or a future homesite in the Oakhurst neighborhood. Membership to The Greenbrier Sporting Club includes no greens fees on any of The Greenbrier’s 4 golf courses.

Members will also receive access to:

  • the Members’ Lodge, a 32,000-square-foot facility with a restaurant, bar and pro shop, the Sports Complex and spa and a members-only facility.
  • the Summit Lodge, which features a restaurant and bar, indoor basketball court, miniature golf, hiking, fishing, equestrian and hunting.
  • activities offered at America’s Resort, which include golf, tennis, swimming, falconry and The Casino Club.

Designer and Builder Scott Gillen, who has created 22 extraordinary luxury properties and generated more than $130 million in sales, has purchased this rare, 24-acre property.

Selling at $50 Million, this undeveloped land has sold at a record price according to the Multiple Listing Service, with Coldwell Banker Global Luxury representing the buyer. The first day the property came on the market, Scott Gillen initiated contact with the owners through Coldwell Banker’s Sandro Dazzan, who represented him on the sale.
This new milestone sale elevates the Malibu property market to unprecedented heights, building on the powerful upward trajectory of the market. Malibu’s reputation as one of the nation’s most elite property markets has never been stronger following other recent sales including the $85 Million sale of David Geffen’s Carbon Beach compound and the $69.9 million sale of a Malibu estate on Sweetwater Mesa Road.
The coveted flat plateau of land offers 360-degree views of the Pacific coastline, Catalina Island, the Santa Monica mountains and city lights. This rare property will be transformed into a 24-hour manned guard gated community to offer the privacy and security that high-profile buyers seek.
Gillen plans to build 5 custom architectural estates, which are currently projected to start at $40 Million and range up to $60 Million. This bespoke residential enclave will be known as “The Case,” and will set a new high standard for Malibu with a combined listing price of over $300 Million. The homes will vary in size from 10,500 to 13,500 square feet, while the lots will span in size from 2.45 to 5.78 acres.
“The Case” will provide an unrivaled location to showcase Gillen’s award winning and sought after design aesthetic. For the first time in Gillen’s career as a designer and builder, he will work closely with an outside architect, Richard Landry.
