Exploring the Most Expensive Listings in Charlotte: Unique Homes Visits Queen City
Unique Homes Media, Inc. is proud to now call Charlotte, North Carolina, a second home alongside our New Jersey office. In April, our team hit the streets to explore some of the most expensive listings in Charlotte. We connected with top-tier real estate professionals to understand what’s drawing buyers in droves to the area.
After touring some of the most opulent homes and neighborhoods, it’s clear that a new standard for luxury has been set in the Queen City.
2715 Loch Lane – $7,499,000 (Under Contract)
Our journey began at 2715 Loch Lane with agent Matthew Alexander, broker in charge of The Regent at Eastover Premier Sotheby’s International Realty. The neighborhood alone made us fall in love, but entering the home’s gates revealed a contemporary masterpiece we won’t soon forget. Spanning 9,054 square feet on a 2.27-acre lot, this home offers ample space to entertain and relax. Here, we discovered seven bedrooms and ten baths among a seamless indoor-outdoor design. A state-of-the-art kitchen, a spacious family room, and an expansive yard all added to the home’s appeal.
The home stands out for its exceptional privacy, all while offering easy access to everything Charlotte has to offer. It features an open, airy layout that feels both palatial but incredibly livable. Our team unanimously agreed — the screened-in porch, with its view of the pool and finished landscaping, was the place to be.
Matt’s deep knowledge of the area helped us appreciate just how much this property stands out among other top-tier listings. Its modern, open design is a rare gem among Charlotte’s more historic homes. If you were hoping to call this one home, it’s already under contract, but don’t worry, Matt had even more to share with us.

4231 Fox Brook Lane – $6,250,000
Another of Matt’s listings is 4231 Fox Brook Lane. Even from the outside, the home exudes old-world charm with stone craftsmanship and a terracotta roof. This 8,557-square-foot estate features five bedrooms, nine baths, heated floors, and a refined blend of classic and modern elements. Set within the gated Morrocroft community, it offers a sense of privacy and security that can not be denied.
4536 Fox Brook Lane – $12,250,000

Next, just up the road, we explored 4536 Fox Brook Lane. A French Provincial estate in the prestigious Morrocroft Estate with Steve Lonnen, owner of SL Home Group and NC and SC Licensed Real Estate Agent who has been calling Charlotte home for twenty years.
Steve Lonnen guided us through the various levels of this elegant home, where modern touches met timeless design. Spanning 14,843 square feet, the residence offers seven bedrooms and ten baths, delivering both serenity and a sense of sophistication. Highlights include a grand foyer, multiple formal and informal living areas, and a gourmet kitchen outfitted with top-of-the-line appliances. Set on a meticulously landscaped 1.27-acre lot, the home also features a stunning pool and spa, creating a serene oasis in the heart of Charlotte.
Immediately after arriving, we felt that this home was truly “One of One!” From the moment we stepped inside, we felt a palpable sense of history and story woven into the space. Custom details and the finest materials lend each room a unique character, from the oversized Calacatta Gold marble islands to the custom-built cabinetry and more.
In addition, even though the home offers easy access to the heart of Charlotte, it feels utterly private and tucked away — a place where real magic can happen, from grand parties and live music to other elegant gatherings. Mature trees and thoughtful landscaping create a peaceful, secluded setting that feels worlds away from the city.
