15 Biltmore Estates Drive
The construction of this 13,365 square foot residence spanned a period of nearly 3 years. The project was guided by Vernon Swaback | Swaback Partners, Architectural & Planning. Mr. Swaback began his training at the University of Ilinois before arriving in Arizona in 1957 to become an apprentice to Frank Lloyd Wright, where he remained with the Wright Organization for 22 years. He then oversaw the renovation of the Arizona Biltmore Hotel and also master planned the 1,000+ acres surrounding the resort. The craftsmanship and innumerable details of this residence were overseen by Dan Finch | Dan Finch Corp., the company that also built the Paradise Valley home of Barry Goldwater, in addition to the renovation of the Wrigley Mansion at the Arizona Biltmore. Judy Fox, the Interior Designer, brought her incomparable skills to the team and created such a warm and friendly feeling throughout the dcor themes of the residence, which was exactly the Owners desire in its completion. Walter Spitz, of Creative Designs in Lighting, artfully designed the lighting system to provide a candle-lit and magical ambience, and that was certainly achieved. A story about this home featured in a Phoenix Home & Garden Dream Homes edition was titled, The Big Cozy, and 15 Biltmore Estates is precisely that!
